No. A Weather Guarantee is not cancellation insurance.
A Weather Guarantee provides automatic reimbursement if specific weather conditions occur during your booked experience, as defined in your guarantee terms. It does not allow you to cancel your booking or receive reimbursement based on personal circumstances, travel issues, or forecasted weather.
Your experience provider’s standard cancellation and refund policies still apply. The Weather Guarantee only applies when the covered weather thresholds are met during the covered time period.
If your experience is cancelled for any reason prior to its scheduled start, the Weather Guarantee must also be cancelled. You will receive an email from Sensible Weather confirming the cancellation of your Weather Guarantee. If you do not receive a cancellation confirmation email, please contact us at support@sensibleweather.com so we can verify your Guarantee status.
