We currently offer Weather Guarantees for rain, precipitation, and high temperatures. The specific Weather Guarantee shown to you depends on the time of year, your location, and the provider you book with. You will always be shown the most relevant Weather Guarantee available for your experience.
During booking, your Weather Guarantee will clearly outline the exact weather conditions required to automatically trigger a reimbursement. This includes the type of weather, coverage hours, and daily thresholds. For example, a Weather Guarantee may state: “Rain between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM each day. A ‘light rain’ of 1.5 mm or more for 4 or more hours will trigger daily coverage.” In this example, reimbursement would be triggered if 1.5 mm or more of rain occurs for at least 4 hours (not necessarily consecutive) during the covered time window.
After booking, you will receive a confirmation email from Sensible Weather that summarizes your specific Weather Guarantee, including the covered weather conditions, coverage hours, and applicable dates.
